SEYH at Let’s Talk Good Finance Yorkshire and Humber

Last week, SEYH, in partnership with Big Society Capital, ran a regional Let’s Talk Good Finance event at the Freedom Centre, Hull. Hearing from social finance experts from Unity Trust, Key Fund and Big Society Capital themselves, topics included what social finance means, the reasons people seek social investment and crucially, dispelling some myths around social investment.

We were lucky enough to also Hear from a Peer… Steve Alltoft from Probe (Hull) Ltd. told of his first hand experience of social financing from Charity Bank, the project it enabled the enterprise to undertake and answered questions from delegates.

Thank you to all involved who helped to make it a brilliant and informative morning.

Podcasts from this event and many others are available here.
