The 2019 SEYH Conference will bring together regional social enterprises and entrepreneurs, businesses and members of the third sector along with a mixture of other exciting people who are passionate about social enterprise. The theme of this year’s conference is Rebelling Social Enterprise Style. We are aware that the current climate is tough and who better to rebel against the current political and economic landscape than social enterprises. We will hear from and celebrate those that are rebelling against the status quo in their area, whether it be environment, education, healthcare or any other. It will be a fantastic forum to network and the facilitated discussions and social entrepreneur presentations will undoubtedly be thought provoking. The SEYH AGM in the middle of the conference will clearly outline the direction the organisation and we hope you will join us for this. Social investment is often seen as a London-centric activity. It can be harder for social enterprises and charities outside of the capital to access social investors and gain a better understanding of the financial products available.
This session is designed to offer third sector organisations the following opportunities:-
To speak to charity and social enterprise leaders who have already accessed social investment
To meet potential social investors
To learn about new social investment initiatives, funds and instruments
To be able to ask questions in a safe and non-judgemental space

The 2018 Awards ceremony will take place on the evening of Thursday 31st January 2019. The event will be held at The Event Space, Aspire Igen, Cheapside, Bradford, BD1 4HR. Nominations are currently open and the application pack can be downloaded from the news section of our website.
