The voluntary sector: a guided tour Thursday 15 March 2012 (10.15–12.30)
Northern Ballet, Quarry Hill, Leeds LS2 7PA
The voluntary sector: a guided tour is one in the series of Landscape seminars run by Involve Yorkshire & Humber.
The voluntary and community sector (VCS) takes many shapes and forms, and plays a vital role throughout society. Boundaries are blurring, with the VCS taking on more and more public service delivery, sometimes in partnership or competition with the private sector. Where does social enterprise fit in? And how does corporate social responsibility (CSR) relate to the sector?
David Cameron’s call for the Big Society has caused increased debate about the nature and role of the VCS. This seminar will help you navigate your way through the sector in Yorkshire and the Humber and help you build crucial new relationships. Book now. You will
